Welcome to Loving Hands Made. My name is Allison, and I am a NICU nurse, mother and home schooler of three. I am also the current overseer of the health, safety, and comfort aspects of our mask production. My children and I are always trying and learning new things. Once Covid-19 started, my oldest daughter Emily (16) wanted to make masks for her grandparents and family. She was inspired by Joanns free mask kits and fabric. Her masks turned out great and she wanted to continue making masks to help others, and prevent the spread of the virus. She set up our Etsy shop description and photos, and taught her brother and me how to make masks. She also invited her grandmother to bring her machine and sew with us. My mother taught David and I how to sew. Even my 5 year old daughter is helping by cutting ribbon and filters, and my husband is the head of shipping, in addition to his engineering job. Emily first created our business and opened our Etsy shop to sell homemade, detergent free soaps and other bath & care products. We still make soap, however masks are now taking precedence.
